It has recently been brought to our attention that most, if not all, of the plants in the U.S., including ours, are not Madame Desiree Giraud, but are likely to be Baronne Prevost, from which Madame Desiree Giraud sported.  Please be aware if ordering this rose that you are likely to receive Baronne Prevost (a very fine rose!) and not Madame Desiree Giraud.
