"Red sky at night...gardener's delight!" This may not be exactly how the old adage goes, but the new 'Night Sky' floribunda from Dickson in Ireland is a joy to behold any time of the day. The plant's eye-catching, single flowers are carmine-red, with randomly appearing darker stripes and a light yellow center. Almost every bloom is slightly different from its neighbor.

The single blooms are produced in clusters of 5 to 19. Despite having only six petals, the lasting quality of the flowers is good, and the moderately fragrant blooms are complemented by large, healthy foliage which is glossy and dark green with a hint of bronze. Slightly taller than average, the plant has an upright to bushy habit, and is always in flower. A wonderfully showy and real attention grabbing rose!
